Avitium's
Vision

avitium wants to support its partner airlines to solve day-to-day problems by developing IT-Solutions which are not based in extensive IT-Consulting. If an avitium solution is consulting intensive we have done something wrong and for us it means back to the drawing board.

the next Generation turnaround Management Solution

Avitium RampWatch is a cloud based solution which allows the easy integration in existing IT-Ecosystems and supports all relevant aviation interfaces for a Cost of Ownership which is 8 times lower than the passenger cost savings.

Meet
avitium ramp Watch

Avitium RampWatch opens up the black box of the turnaround and builds the bridge for covering the needs of all stakeholders participating in the aircraft’s turnaround. It actively supports reducing the risk of mistakes due to lack of information transparency and is an essential tool for every airline.

One big ecosystem

Supporting the digital strategy of the airlines is our focal point. Therefore we are developing solutions which can be easily incorporated in existing IT-Ecosystems going away from the idea of monolithic architectures.

FEATURES FOR OPS CONTROLLERS

Ops controllers are the brain of operations. Solving upcoming issues, managing changes of the flight schedule, handling the operation of flights, as well as communicating with different departments, companies and airports are some of the tasks in the day to day operation of an Ops Controller.

The ops controller has to be able to find the flights with issues fast without scrolling in endless flights through the entire network. Thanks to the smart filters the users can find immediately the necessary information in Avitium RampWatch. Alerts such as misconnecting passengers, off-slot operation, airport restrictions, ATC restrictions etc. are shown to the users in the alert box at the bottom of the screen and by clicking on them the respective flight gets selected.

The ops controllers have quick access to all flights, flights of the day and future flights. All important times for the turnaround such as Registration Nr., Flight Number of arriving and departing flight, ATA, STD, ETD, and CTOT are available at the first level of information.

The flight modifications are usually done by the core system and through the interfaces the information is populated automatically. Avitium RampWatch offers the possibility to modify the flight schedule also manual if desired. Furthermore issuing an ETD can be done intuitively directly from the respective flight pairing.

Disruptions such as Divert Flight, Return to Ramp and Return from Airborne can be managed in Avitium RampWatch and update any other system if desired.

The ops controllers can chat directly with the duty managers of the respective station. By clicking to the flight pairing only the allocated duty managers for chatting are available for easy steering of communication.

A comprehensive cockpit provides all necessary reporting information at a glance. There are no limits in the customers’ wishes including cost performing reports such as EU 261 Passenger compensation, punctuality reports such as TARMAC delays, Passenger Loads and turnaround performance. Furthermore all the reports are also available as downloadable files in .xls, and .csv format for introduction to existing BI solutions or for manual manipulation.

FEATURES FOR DUTY MANAGERS

Duty managers are responsible for the sound operation of the flights on a specific station and are building the connection between the OCC and the ramp agents.

All important information of the arriving flight such as ETD, ATD, Take Off, Landing, ATA, In Pax, Gate, Delay Code etc. can be entered by the duty manager (if not delivered by the interface). There is no need to have direct access to the core system anymore. This feature is special handy for secluded destinations with no access to any other system.

All the processes which are included in the SLA for the specific aircraft type, and the station of the duty manager are automatically proposed and calculated by the system. Additional ad-hoc processes can be added as well as the respective equipment.

In case there are remarks for a specific flight the duty managers can write memos for the arriving or the departing leg. The communication has never been simpler and more transparent.

Duty managers have the possibility to enter new information and select the reasons thanks to the intuitive user interface.

The duty managers can chat directly with the ramp agents and the ops controllers. No additional telecommunication costs and no SITA messages are necessary. By clicking to the flight pairing only the allocated ramp agent for chatting and the ops controller on duty are available for easy steering of communication.

FEATURES FOR RAMP AGENTS

Ramp agents are on the line of fire. They are managing the turnaround of the aircraft regardless of the weather conditions and are coordinating all ground service equipment to fulfill the turnaround in the fastest time.

The ramp agent initiates the start of the turnaround as soon as the aircraft door opens. This can be also done completely automatically if the aircraft has ACARS interface.

The ramp agent has the possibility to pause and resume the turnaround if for example some processes have been carried out and other ones will be carried out in the next day(s). Finally when all the processes have finished the ramp agent ends the turnaround when the door closes. This can be also done completely automatically if the aircraft has ACARS interface.

The ramp agent can ask for an extension of the turnaround time due to different problems or delays that occur on the ramp. The system has a built-in workflow and the ops controller is approving or rejecting the extension.

The ramp agent has a clear overview of the turnarounds that he has to fulfill on the day of his shift. Important information such as arriving flight number, gate, STA, planned turnaround time, departing flight number, ETA and the status of the turnaround are presented at a glance.

In case there are remarks for a specific flight the ramp agent can write memos for the arriving or the departing leg. The communication has never been simpler and more transparent.

The ramp agents can chat directly with duty managers and the ops controllers. No additional telecommunication costs and no SITA messages are necessary.
